Give the Postal Service Gorgeous, Sexy Spokesmodels
The United States Postal Service is in deep financial trouble. To counter misperceptions of the relative advantage of sending packages by UPS or FedEx, the USPS is airing commercials in which a pleasant, pudgy letter carrier says, "If it fits, it ships for a low flat rate." That's fine, but the guy has absolutely no sex appeal nor charisma. He seems a nice guy, who is finishing last.

Replace him with two gorgeous, sexually hot spokespersons, one male, one female, in body-clinging USPS uniforms, and I think TV viewers would pay much more attention to those commercials — and many of those viewers would both remember them better and consider USPS instead of UPS or FedEx next time they have a package (or ten packages, or a thousand packages) to send.

Sex appeal sells. The United States Postal Service needs sex appeal.
